Recession Leads To Tumblr Cutbacks
I just streamlined my following count from 512 to 238. I let go several people who wrote exclusively in languages I didn’t know, people who only posted music or text blogs (I’m a very visual person), and a variety of people who didn’t follow me who I felt were simply reblogging and not adding their own twist.
To everyone else, we are still friends, and things are really going...

NoLovr Reciprocatr →
I was still working on cleaning out my following list and needed a way to figure out who I was following that wasn’t following me. Luckily, I stumbled upon NoLovr Reciprocatr, a Firefox Greasemonkey extension. It also lets you know who is following you that you aren’t following, which helped me add some great new people to my list.
I know, I’ve heard the argument,...

Few Inactive Tumblrs
In an attempt to decrease the amount of people I was following I tried to go through and remove anyone who hadn’t blogged in over a month. I was really surprised to find that only four to seven people had been that tardy. So good job Tumblrs, in staying active with your blogs!

Phop
I’m tired of wasting time saying ‘photoshop’ or ‘photoshopped’, so I am inventing a one syllable slang for it, phop. It can be used as an adjective or a noun. For example, ‘That’s a great phop on that photo to make your face look like a cat.’ or ‘I think I’m going to phop some web design tonight.’ Please see Exhibit A for an...

Note to TXM.com Members
As of today, I am routing all traffic from TXM.com to my personal blog. If you have any requests to retrieve old Flash media files, please email me at kevin@txm.com and I’ll try to take care of each request personally. Jesse and I do have plans to relaunch TXM.com but it will not be until June at the earliest. Once again, thanks for all your support through the years!

My New Design Is UP!
I consider this V2.1 with the intent of releasing V2.2 sometime this week. V2.2 will include lots of fancy JavaScript stuff to display likes and reblogs, make AJAX disqus requests, add tag clouds, etc. Thanks to my parents for helping me with a photoshoot, and to all the Tumblrs who helped me make design choices.
Inspirations all came from primarily three places:
Hunson Is Groovy
