2-B-2 Architecture.
If you need to light a room, you might as well do it with pizazz. Thanks Yanko!
Pink Kitchen.
I approve, especially with that black counter top. If you have to pick a shade of pink, that has to be the best out there. As for the rest of the pink kitchen photos in this set on Apartment Therapy, I’m totally ‘meh’ over.
New Artwork By Alex Varanese.
A great blend of typography, 3d design, and monochromatic schemes, Alex’s work is top notch. Thanks Looks Like Good Design!

55 Colorful Web Designs.
Browsing Tumbler, I notice that a lot of the blogs lack color. Everything is white and grey scale with minor splashes of blue or red here and there. Well, fix it. Stop putting on your scenester pants and trying to be so damn cool, and throw in some color. Thanks Web Design Ledger!

Every Ingredient In A Pizza Pocket.
Ah, the healthy nutritious snack that is a pizza pocket, laid out in a loving array of typefaces. I could really go for some modified food starch about now. Thanks Justin Perricone and Boing Boing!
2010 Design Updates.
I finally got around to updating my website design. Nothing major. Mostly performance tweeks and color changes. I shifted the tones into more reds and blues, and cooled off the background. All images were updated to higher color depths. No more nasty GIFs. Compressed PNGs all the way.
The map sidebar got an update and now includes my Tumblr icon. I was able to stamp out 82 W3C errors and speed up the entire site by offloading the CSS. I am waiting for a server reboot to do image caching.
I’m still rethinking an entire update to the buttons along the top but so far the inspiration hasn’t come to me. I tried out stickers, stamps, holes in papers, nothing felt right.
Oh yah, and the ‘ask’ button is now an integral part of my design!
Thanks to everyone who has followed me since I started this blog. I appreciate it dearly, and if I haven’t gotten around to following you yet, it doesn’t mean you are off my radar.
Cesena Building.
Designed by Tisselli Studio Architetti and located in Cesena, Italy, this building is a beautiful example of edges and perspective at work. The building extrudes sharp corners as it comes out of the hill, making for an interesting interior layout. Thanks Arch Daily!
