A True Samurai Hamster Never Draws His Sword.
My new friend, Carol, has some pretty amazing hair. Not only that, but she’s pretty damn good at coloring. So while we were hanging out, I decided to draw a samurai hamster with an approximation of her ‘do’, and she was kind enough to add the splash of color the drawing needed. Surprisingly, this has nothing to do with ATHWT, it just happened to be a hamster.

Chesnio’s works are some of my favorite on ESD, with his loose lines and elongated bodies, I tend to get sucked into every piece. The green in the background makes this seem so sinister to me though I suspect it is just a forest or trees and random people standing around. Thanks eatsleepdraw!

Birthday Gift For Father
It’s Saturday morning and I’ve drawn another gift, this time its for my father’s birthday and not Christmas. I feel like I’m getting the hang of Sharpie on UPS shipping paper. I tried to recreate a scene from Sparth’s Structura, who is one of my biggest inspirations and influences for concept art. It’s basically an air ship, though I think I went overboard on the lines.
He hasn’t opened it yet, so I can’t say what’s inside, but I’ll have a reveal photo later today. I can’t talk any more about it without a cone of silence.
