100% Paper Home.
Luise Valdez must have had a few vacation days to put this piece together, a house made entirely of paper and quick-sketch black marker. Thanks to Doornob. Inflammable means flammable?
Joe’s Milwaukee Retreat.
I want to live in this 3000 sqft layout. Everything is so open and industrial with the exposed ceiling and wires, giant wood beams, and cold concrete floors. I love how everything is loosely divided with curtains and paper doors. No definite divisions, just a giant open space. Thanks Apartment Therapy!
House Passes Health Care Bill.
It actually happened. No more denial of coverage based on gender or preexisting conditions, extended health care to 32 million additional Americans, and projected budget deficits will be cut by $1 trillion over two decades.
Huge Tropical House.
It’s amazing how much space they fit into a 30 x 60 sf property. Not to mention, it is designed beautifully, with lots of dark woods, giant revolving doors and windows, and a kick ass view of the ocean. Thanks Dornob!
Blair Residence / Bruce Bolander.
This 800 sqft isolated in the hills of Malibu is a stunning mixture of wood, concrete, glass, and steel, with an amazing panoramic view and sharp angles abound. Thanks Arch Daily!
Lim Geo Dnag House.
This house, designed by IROJE KHM Architects, is so absolutely stunning that it was nearly impossible to decide which photo to blog. Every angle of this house is sleek and beautiful, with a basic mixture of wood, concrete, and glass. It has eight interior courtyards, seems to rise out of the earth, and is a stunning mixture of warm and cool tones between the wood and glass lighting. Ungh. Thanks ArchDaily!
Plus in Japan Architecture.
Designed by Mount Fuji Architects Studio, this luxury house is formed by two massive blocks stacked in an L shape, overlooking the Pacific ocean. The way the building lets the ocean breeze through is masterful, even if the interiors are stark. Thanks DailyTonic!
