2010 Design Updates.
I finally got around to updating my website design. Nothing major. Mostly performance tweeks and color changes. I shifted the tones into more reds and blues, and cooled off the background. All images were updated to higher color depths. No more nasty GIFs. Compressed PNGs all the way.
The map sidebar got an update and now includes my Tumblr icon. I was able to stamp out 82 W3C errors and speed up the entire site by offloading the CSS. I am waiting for a server reboot to do image caching.
I’m still rethinking an entire update to the buttons along the top but so far the inspiration hasn’t come to me. I tried out stickers, stamps, holes in papers, nothing felt right.
Oh yah, and the ‘ask’ button is now an integral part of my design!
Thanks to everyone who has followed me since I started this blog. I appreciate it dearly, and if I haven’t gotten around to following you yet, it doesn’t mean you are off my radar.

Unbeknownst To Me.
I have been spending the last hour minimizing my internet footprint, privatizing profile information from Amazon, deleting unused accounts, etc. During the search, I realized my boss, Ben, had uploaded a drawing I did while bored at work. I swear it was relative to the project I was leading at the time…
Happy Valentines From My Blog.
Ah, I pulled the old theme out of the closet. I can’t believe it has been over a years since I did my design for my blog. Before I know it, I’ll be dead and reborn as an albino squirrel with a top hat.
PS: I am now officially 26, since my blog says so.
PSS: I don’t think my site can get any more pink…
We Got Drunk…
…and then a fashion show happened. I swear, I always look like I need to clean my glasses. Ah shit, Jesse’s laser eye is coming out again.
Gratuitous Pornstache Of Yourself Wednesday.
It was the end of an era. Mickey was closing down his porn shop, number two distributor in the Brooklyn area. We had paid our dues, risen to the top, all for naught. But damn if we didn’t have some good times going down. I was always best at making puns…

For $300, I will give you exclusive rights to this template, cut it up, and setup your Tumblr account, complete with Twitter, Disqus, etc. Everything must go, SALE SALE SALE! If you are interested, contact me at create@dierobotdie.com with ’50s Diner’ in the subject line. From there we can work something out.

PS, thanks to the avatars I temporarily stole for this design. :D
More Cleaning.
Did I post this once already? That’s the dangers of cleaning your old artwork. I think the left three were for an on going project while the right was an experiment in a new style. I like it though. What’s a good way to organize digital artwork in folders?
